"our"), the developer of the Android application Series & Movie Finder

(package name com.cinemfindsapp.moviebox), published on the Google Play

Store.

About the app

Series & Movie Finder is an entertainment app that lets you discover

trending movies and TV shows, browse by genre, search for titles, view

details, and save favorites. All movie and TV show information is

provided by TMDB (The Movie Database).

What data we collect

Series & Movie Finder does not require or create a user account, and we

(the developer) do not ask for, collect, or store any personally

identifiable information such as your name, email address, or phone

number.

• Favorites: Titles you save as favorites are stored only on your

  device in the app's local storage. They are never transmitted to us

  or to any server.

• Images: Movie and TV show poster images are cached on your device so

  they load faster. This cache is stored locally and can be cleared by

  clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app.

• Movie data requests: When the app loads movie information from TMDB,

  standard technical data (such as your IP address and device

  information) may be processed by TMDB as part of those requests.

Advertising

Series & Movie Finder is a free app supported by advertising. Ads are

served through Yodo1 MAS, which includes Google AdMob and other

advertising partners (ad networks). The app shows the following ad

formats:

• App-open ads (shown when the app starts)

• Interstitial ads (shown between screens)

• Native ads (shown within the onboarding screens)

These third-party advertising SDKs may collect and process certain

technical data automatically to serve and measure ads, including:

• Device identifiers, such as the advertising ID (Advertising ID on

  Android)

• IP address

• Device type, operating system, and general technical information

• Approximate location derived from your IP address

• Data about ad views and interactions

This data is collected and shared with our advertising partners for the

purpose of advertising or marketing (serving and measuring ads). Where

required by law (for example, in the European Economic Area and the

United Kingdom), only non-personalized ads are served, and no

personalized profiling is used.

You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads

through your Android device settings at any time (Settings → Google →

Ads). You can also review each ad network's own privacy policy for more

details about their practices.

How we share data

• We do not sell your personal information. We do not collect personal

  information about you in the first place.

• Technical data described above is shared with advertising partners

  (Yodo1 MAS, Google AdMob, and their mediated ad networks) solely for

  advertising and marketing purposes.

• We do not share any data with other third parties except as required

  by law or to operate and protect our services.

Data retention and security

Data stored on your device (favorites and cached images) is kept

locally for as long as you use the app, and is deleted when you clear

the app's data or uninstall the app.

Data processed by advertising partners is retained according to each

partner's own policies. We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to the

limited data involved, but no method of transmission or storage over

the Internet is 100% secure.
